Prenatal patients are typically seen by an obstetrician for the first time around 22 weeks gestation. This appointment may be virtual or in person. If your pregnancy is uncomplicated, you will be followed by your family doctor until 36 weeks, and then by the obstetrics team from 36 weeks until delivery. Of course, if any issues arise in the pregnancy you may be followed in our clinic sooner.

You will be assigned an obstetrician, however you may see any of the obstetricians for your prenatal appointments. Delivery will be done by the on-call physician as this allows us to provide 24/7 in hospital coverage.
